Tattnall's Avery Signs With Air Force Academy
Hank Avery signed a letter of intent to play football with the Air Force Academy. Hank has received a four-year scholarship valued at over $405,000 from the Academy. Avery enrolled in Tattnall Square Academy during his sophomore year. Since then, Hank has become an exceptional player and has been named an All-Region, All-State, and All-Star player in the GISA. He was chosen as a 1st team all Middle Georgia GISA Team Member by The Macon Telegraph and was recently nominated as Lineman of the Year for the Macon Touchdown Club. Hank had 88 first hits, 41 assists, 27 tackles for loss, 2 fumble recoveries, and 1 interception for a touchdown from the noseman position.
