Matt Arthur's Dr. Jolie Hardin Named A 2010 Georgia Distinguished Principal

Dr. Jolie Hardin, Matt Arthur Elementary School Principal, has been selected as the 2010 Georgia Distinguished Principal for District 11.  Each year, the Georgia Association of Elementary School Principals (GAESP) identifies exemplary school leaders in 16 districts through the Georgia Distinguished Principal program.  One principal from each district is chosen by his or her peers to represent their district at the state level.

Principal Hardin commented, “I am humbled by this award. Knowing the quality of principals in District 11, I am extremely honored by their recognition. I work with a highly talented faculty and staff who help make my job very enjoyable and rewarding. The dedication of our teachers, along with the support from our Board of Education and central office staff, are as much of a factor in school success as the hard work principals put forth. I could never accept such an award without recognizing their efforts, as well.”
