FPD High Math Team Places in Pre-Calculus Competition
First Presbyterian Day School’s 10th grade team recently finished 4th in the Pre-Calculus division at the College of Charleston Math Meet. Fifty-two schools and more than 600 students from around the Southeast competed at the event. Jonathan Easter and Evan Place scored among the top 20 students in the Pre-Calculus and Calculus divisions, respectively, and all but two FPD students scored in the top 25%.
