"Cheaper By The Dozen" at The Rose

Christopher Sergel’s hilarious comedy "Cheaper by the Dozen" will be presented by The Backlot Players Youth (“BOOYA”) on July 30-31, Aug 5-7, beginning at 8 p.m. each night, and on August 1 and 8, beginning at 2 p.m. each afternoon.
 
Shows will be presented at the Rose Theater, 23 W. Johnston Street, and all tickets are only $10 each.  The Rose box office is open Monday-Friday 11 a.m.-1 p.m., 4-7 p.m. Monday-Wednesday of each week, and two hours prior to each show. All seats reserved with ticket purchase.

Artists Sought for 24th Annual National Juried Arts Exhibition in Douglasville

The Cultural Arts Council of Douglasville/Douglas County will present the 24th Annual National Juried Arts Exhibition, selected by Kevin Grogan, Executive Director of the Morris Museum of Art in Augusta.  The exhibition will open on Thursday, November 4, and will be on view through Friday, December 3.  There will be an artist reception on Sunday, November 7, at 3 p.m., hosted by juror Kevin Grogan.
