Dr. Florence Baralatei Named Medical Director of Carlyle Place
Dr. Florence Baralatei, a family medicine physician for more than 20 years, has been named Medical Director at Carlyle Place. Dr. Baralatei graduated from medical school in her native Nigeria. In 2001, she moved to the United States, and completed a residency at the Medical Center of Central Georgia. At MCCG, she became interested in the geriatric medicine, and became board-certified in Family Medicine and Geriatrics. Besides serving as Carlyle Place’s Medical Director, she is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Geriatrics for the Medical Center’s Department of Family Medicine. Dr. Baralatei and her husband, an industrial engineer, live in Warner Robins.

Gray City Councilman Accepts Job in North Georgia
Russell Thompson, elected to Gray City Council last November, was recently named City Manager for Summerville, in northern Georgia's Chattanooga County. Thompson is due to resign from Gray's city council before starting his new post on March 1. The city will hold a special election to fill his seat.
Macon Rotary Club Meets With "METS"!
The Uptown Rotary Club of Macon met with Linda Herdina of Savannah, who gave a presentation of Medical Equipment Transport Service. METS distributes medical supplies collected from hospitals, doctors, and assisted living homes throughout Middle Georgia to nine third world countries.

Museum of Aviation Displays Helicopter Flown in Three Wars
Visitors to the Museum of Aviation in Warner Robins can now say hello to a 30,000-pound Super Jolly Green Giant! Capable of flying in total darkness, and finding its way into and out of dangerous hostile territory, the Giant is a 38-year-old MH-53 special operations helicopter that has been around the world from Thailand to Europe to Iraq, and has seen combat action in three wars.
Robins Federal Credit Union Announces New Call Center Manager

Robins Federal Credit Union is proud to announce their newest member to the management team. Bryan Jones has been named the Manager for Robins Federal’s Call Center. Jones has nearly 14 years experience in the financial industry most recently as the Vice President of Branch Operations for Denali Alaskan Federal Credit Union in Anchorage, Alaska. Jones has a B.S. in Psychology from Radford University as well as a M.S. in Business Organizational Management from the University of La Verne.
